Written Question on the involvement of Kosovo's new president Hashim Thaçi in the crimes committed by the Albanian guerrillas in Kosovo

Written Question by Jean-François Jacob:

According to Stu Kellock, chief of Police of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo from 2000 to 2001, Hashim Thaçi had a direct influence on the collection of taxes, drug trafficking, women, arms and smuggling in the Albanian guerrilla in Kosovo.

At the end of 2010, in a Council of Europe report by the Parliamentarian Dick Marty, it had also been shown that the current president of Kosovo was directing trafficking in organs taken from some 500 Serbs and Roma, captured by the Albanian guerrillas .

Does the European Commission not believe that light must be made on these crimes before any cooperation with the Kosovo authorities?
