On the definition of the endocrine disrupting Commission

A study published on November 28 in the Le Monde newspaper, conducted by a team of about 100 scientists, reports on the negligence that the Commission has shown in its definition of endocrine disrupters, ignoring the recommendations of Based on the sole competence of EFSA (European Food Safety Agency). Some point out the desire to bypass too severe a regulation of these dangerous substances, which interfere with the hormonal system at very fine doses, and pressure of lobbies as the main reason. The Endocrine Society itself, constituted by an international community of about 18 000 researchers, is opposed to the position supported by the Commission.

In these circumstances, does the Commission intend to clarify its approach and denounce the pressure of lobbies?
