Levothyrox: Is the new formula dangerous?

Press release of Sylvie Gherardi, co-signed by Mireille D'ornano and Jean-François Jacob:

Patients who have been prescribed Levothyrox against thyroid disorders are alert to the increased side effects they have undergone since the drug changed formula: memory holes, depression, suicidal cravings, and Deterioration of their psychic state.

The change of Levothyrox formula has been recommended by the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and health products (ANSM) to stabilise the drug. But the multiplication of people who are victims of these side effects must induce the health authorities to act.

For the time being, the National Drug Safety Agency invites victims of side effects to consult their doctor and report adverse events collected on the Ministry of Health's website.
Nevertheless, the MEPs of the National Front sitting in the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety invite the health authorities to quickly monitor the safety of the new Levothyrox formula and, if necessary, to ask the laboratory concerned to return temporarily to the old formula.
